Recap episode 5
Chunkey Pandey's Judging experience

When asked about his experience of judging, he says, "It's a very hostile atmosphere on the show. The very concept of the show is sexist. There is a very thin line between competition and being sexist. So you know there are little kids coming up to me and accusing me of being partial. The boys v/s girls thing is happening in schools also."When asked if there are any differences between co-judge Malliaka Arora and himself, he says, "Differences happen everywhere and we are mature adults so we handle the situation very gracefully. Moreover the judges' decision is final. So there is a thing going on between the judges and the contestants. See, there is neck to neck competition going on. I judge these guys like a common audience. I don't see any techniques. I just enjoy myself."Rachit Kamath, Hill Road Media

Recap Week 4
After winning the performance episode the Meethi Churi Lakdiyan bet 23 points and the boys threw the challenge of Popping & locking in the Khallas round to the girls. The girls accepted the challenge. The reason they threw a challenge of this style is that the audience can see more variety of dance styles on no other show but only on Zara Nach Ke Dikha.
The Lagi Bet Round
Boys Performance: Two team members were asked to do this round by the judges. From the boys team Vikas S & Chaitanya performed on the song Krazzy 4 where one was Shahrukh and the other Hrithik. The judges were not very happy with the performance put up by them.
Girls Performance: The girls Mouni & Ashita performed on the song Nach Nach from the Film Nach. Ashita during the performance had a wardrobe malfunction, but even then she didn't stop the act. The judges were floored by their performance and appreciated their act and guts to carry on and not stop, they were highly impressed by the concept and choreography, and the girls won this round.
Khallas Round
Boys Performance: Bakhtiyar came forward from the boy's team to do the Popping & Locking dance style. He performed on the song Main Aisa kyon hoon from the film Lakshya. He was applauded by all for his effort.
Girls Performance: Narayni came from the girls side and had every one in shock at her movements & attitude. Her act not only had popping & locking, it also had a bit of Bhanjara. At the end of the episode a girl was seated on the penalty bench.
Week 4: Performance Episode
Girls Solo Performance: The first performance of the day was by the girls' team leader Delnaz Paul who danced to Khallas. This was preceded by a very Mahabharat introduction, complete with excessive echo following Delnaz's words and shells being blown.
Boys Solo Performance: Gaurav Chopra and the rest of the boys' team introduced their solo act with the rest of the boys providing the echo verbally. Gaurav dramatically performed to Yeh Veeraniya, during the course of which he was murdered and banished to hell, where he pined for his lost love. The boys' team won the round, and managed to tie their score with the girls, who they had been trailing behind for over a week.
Zara Hath Ke Round - Theme 'Body in Contact'Girls Performance: Narayani and Rupali tackled the Spirit of Rangeela where they depicted good (Narayni) and evil (Rupali) in an overtly suggestive but enjoyable (as made obvious by Chunky) performance. For this performance, Narayani and Rupali were jointly awarded the Clinic All Clear Confidence award at the end of the episode, as Malaika thought they qualified as a single performer.
Boys Performance: Amey and Manish in a heart-wrenching depiction of father and son to Tujhse Naraaz. Amey was left with four days of life, which Manish was working towards making the most of. The performance ended with Amey dying, and bitter tears from Manish. This cued even more tears from the rest of the performers, and Malaika.Hum Tum RoundAfter getting the cast to stop weeping (or perhaps in order to) Swini and Amey performed for the Hum Tum round to What is Mobile Number, which finally got an encore to roaring demand.
Group Act
Girls Performance: Dancing in front of a glittery pink female gender symbol, dressed as a multitude of female role models; a pilot, business woman, judge, doctor, tennis player, and police officer. Ashita stood out during this performance, according to Malaika.
Boys Performance: Only five of the boys performed in this round. It began with Ali and Chaitanya dancing to Radha Kaise na Jale followed by the rest of the boys joining in to an extremely well received Koi Kahein, which had an encore that Malaika joined in for, followed soon after by Chunky and the anchors, the rest of the boys, and the entire girls' team. The boys won the Group Act round, which brought their final score to 1 point over the girls' team. This put them in a position to choose a dance style for the Khallas round, and forcing the girls to bet a number of points for the Lagi Bet round. The judges suggested that the girls not get carried away and not bet too liberally, which after a long session in the strategy room, the girls decided to bet 23 points, citing astrological

Chunky Pandey

Chunky Panday is an Indian film actor and has appeared in over 55 movies in a career that has spanned over two decades.Personal lifeChunky's real name is Suyash Sharad Panday, but is also known as Chandrakant Pandey. He married Bhavna in 1998 and has two daughters. He decided to make a comeback to Bollywood in 2002 and ended up appearing in over a dozen movies. Apart from appearing in movies, Chunky is also involved in a business 'Bollywood Electric' which hosts stage shows. He and wife Bhavna also run a health food restaurant in Mumbai.CareerStarting out his Bollywood career in 1987, with the film Daraar, Chunky shot to the spotlight with his role in Tezaab (1988). This was the first big break for him and he received a nomination as a best supporting actor from his performance in the film. Since then he has appeared in many films with mixed success throughout the late 1980s and 1990s. Unfortunately for Pandey, many of his films in which he had the leading role never did well at the box office. It was always his secondary leading roles that made the most impact. He was noted from his pairing with Govinda in the blockbuster hit film Aankhen (1993) and with Sunny Deol in Paap Ki Duniya (1988), Vishwatma (1992) and Lootere (1993) all of which were box office hits. His career began to fade from the limelight in the mid 90s due to the rising popularity and demand of megastars such as Aamir Khan, Shahrukh Khan, and Salman Khan. As a result, Pandey traveled to Bangladesh in the late 1990s to keep his acting career alive. Surprisingly Chunky became a superstar overnight in Bangladesh, starring in numerous Bengali movies. Ironically, Pandey had never spoken Bengali and his voice was dubbed over. After his hiatus from Bollywood since 1999, Pandey returned in 2002 playing supporting roles in Qayamat: City Under Threat (2003), Elaan (2005) and Ssukh (2005). Pandey was then critically acclaimed for his performance in Ram Gopal Varma's gangster thriller D - Underworld Baadshah (2005). In 2006 he won praise for his comical performance as a Nepali gangster in Apna Sapna Money Money and made a brief appearance in Don (2006). Recently he appeared in the multi-starrer action comedy Fool and Final. He is also associated with the upcoming Johnny Depp movie Shantaram.

Ali loves playing pranks. "From my childhood days I was famous for my mimicry so no surprise that I became a comedian. But my wife is enjoying my first dance show. She cannot believe that I can dance. I hope I'm not caught in the penalty bench so I'm working hard on everything from expressions to attitude. I hope that like I won my first comedy stand-up reality show I and my team will also win Zara Nach Ke Dikha."
And what about Kahaani? "I'm doing the show. As of now my on-screen family is facing huge problems so I have to support them especially Parvati Bhabi."Dhanashri Kulkarni, Hill Road Media
Chaitanya tense yet confident

"I really like this show as it gives you lots of confidence. It is my first reality show so on the first day of the shoot I was really tense but such anxiety helps you perform well," says Chaitanya. Asked about his rapport with his team, he says, "It has been a great experience. The 8 of us are staying together like brothers and it really gives us strength to perform well." Will boys outdo the girls? "Both are doing equal amount of hard work so let's see what happens," he signs off.Dhanashri Kulkarni, Hill Road Media
ZND is like IPL: Manish Goel

"I'm enjoying my dancing. One must dedicate a lot of time for rehearsals so now I'm working accordingly. After one month we all tez talwar boys have now become friends. We share our lunch and are very supportive of each other. It's a dance war between girls and boys. Though there are some unwanted comments made by girls we tend to give it back through dancing. My act with Amey was appreciated by the judges. Even our fellow contestants were in tears."Finally, why are girls ahead of boys in every around? "I think it's their good luck. But everyday is not a Sunday. This show is like IPL. Anything can happen during crunch time," he warns. Dhanashri Kulkarni, Hill Road Media
